Happy 2006!

Hope you are all keeping your New Years resolutions.  (I broke mine once, but only once, and don't plan on doing it again).  So far it's been a good year besides the fact that I racked up way too much debt in December haha, but I'm a girl and I like to shop...what can I say.  Let's see...in the beginning of December my roomate and I went down to Virginia to visit my old roomate Kristen and her boyfriend Brandon.  It was quality relaxation time...and quality Jess getting a tattoo time.  Here is a picture (of course it looks a little different on me)...

Just the eyes is the tattoo, not the black around it.  They're purple like that too.  I got in on my very lower middle back, just above my butt crack.  It didnt hurt as bad as I thought it would, and I was a trooper.  I almost passed out once, but 3 hours later I made it through alive and well.   Not bad for a girl who once said, "I'd never get a tattoo, those things are so stupid"

For Christmas, I went to Michigan to visit the fam and then home to Norwalk to the parents house.  I got a CD player for the Cavvy, it's very 1990s now.

On New Years I went to the Shroyer with some work peoples and a few friends, just danced and had a little champagne.

Now, I am just working extra hard to pay off some of the Christmas debt.

Here are a couple pictures from Brandy/Chris's B-day celebration down in c-natti...they're a little old, but this website thing will only let me put so many pictures on at a time

We're MOVED IN!  What a tiring day that was.
Last night, the roomies and I decided to get some wine and chill in our new place.  After 3 liters of wine (and a shot of jager because we hit up the local fairborn bar-a complete hole in the wall)  we all decided to go climb up on the roof of the old Cooker restaurant in beavercreek.  And we were dirty...I really don't know how i climbed up the ladder.  After that adventure, we hit up Steak n Shake, where I, in my drunken stupor, decided to drink some of the pepper juice out of the little bottle of peppers on the table.  Kinda spicy, but not bad.   I then proceded to polish off everyone else's left over food...of course   We also got some quality sprinkler running time after the steak n shake...takes me back to freshman year.   We came back to the new place and crashed on the floor of our empty apartment and woke up early this morning to move.
I am officially a bad-ass truck driver.  Why I was chosen I am not sure, but I drove the U-HAUL.  I love trucks, and driving the F-350 was a blast...and amazingly, I didnt even hit anything.  Thanks to T-Duck and Josh, we moved all our stuff...if it wasnt for them we would have been screwed.  Hard work aside, we all had a blast and didn't even argue or bitch during the entire process.  I love the new place!  It's so nice, and THINGS WORK HERE.  The carpets are clean, we have showers (no more tubs!), lights work, we have a dishwasher, we have a garage, i have a walk-in closet (which is a first for me)  We have 3 bathrooms, oh yea...and we have air conditioning.  Our place is pretty fuckin chill, and I love my room.  I still have some things at the old house so I have a few more things to move, and I can't wait til we're all settled in.  Also, I turned on the computer, and turns out there are about 5 wireless networks around here....so WE ARE GETTING FREE INTERNET!
After all our moving adventures we went to Peggys Pub.  I did not feel like drinking at all, so I just had some water...which everyone harassed me about (aka "Jessi, wow, you have had 3 waters...you must be wasted" etc etc.)  But it was funny.  I am so sore and tired right now and am going to sleep so good t'nite.  I am going to try to wake up at 10 tommorrow morning cause I have tons more to do, but we'll see how that goes.  Ahhhh...bed.   what a good day.
